The coin features Queen Elizabeth II's fifth official coinage portrait by Jody Clark on the obverse. The reverse features Benedetto Pistrucci's iconic St George and the Dragon design, accompanied by a special '65' mint mark created to commemorate the anniversary.
 
Struck in 22ct gold and finished to Proof standard, this Sovereign combines one of Britain's most recognisable coin designs with a distinctive commemorative detail unique to the 2018 issue.
