The IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar
The Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar has an important place in IWC's history. Originally introduced in 1985, the watch incorporated Kurt Klaus's ingenious perpetual calendar mechanism, allowing the calendar to automatically account for the different lengths of months and leap years. The mechanism was designed to require no adjustment until 2100.
The Ref. IW3750 combines this perpetual calendar with a chronograph and moon phase display, making it one of IWC's most technically significant vintage complications. The 39mm 18ct yellow-gold versions are particularly sought after for their combination of precious-metal construction and mechanical complexity.
